Rain Jane Trail Funded in Part by JASNA

Celebrations marking the 200th anniversary of Jane Austen's death in 2017 have already begun in the city of Winchester, England, with the launch of the Rain Jane Trail. Twelve Austen quotes appear in 39 locations in the city when the sidewalks are wet. (Fortunately, it rains often in England.) The trail ends at a memorial wall of ivy in the College Street garden, opposite the house where Jane Austen died.

Rain Jane has been supported in part by funding from JASNA. To see more photos, visit the Rain Jane Twitter feed.
