Jane Austen Birthday Celebration at WGBH Studios

JASNA Massachusetts and WGBH Educational Foundation invite you to "A Celebration of Jane Austen" on Sunday, December 9, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the WGBH Studios in Boston (Brighton).
We will gather for our annual Jane Austen birthday celebration and have a unique look at the upcoming Masterpiece Theatre season devoted to "The Complete Jane Austen," which will begin airing on PBS stations in January. The four-month broadcast event will feature film adaptations of all six of her novels, including four new productions.

Our celebration on December 9 will include:
- Tours of the new WGBH studios
- A sneak preview of "The Complete Jane Austen" series
- Lively discussion of Austen's legacy
- A demonstration of traditional English Country dancing and music
- A reception and refreshments
- Our traditional birthday toast to Jane

Directions to the WGBH Studios
The new WGBH studios are located at One Guest Street, Boston (Brighton). Free special-event parking is available on the fourth and fifth floors of the adjacent parking garage. Entry to the parking garage will be on your right, coming up Guest Street from Market Street, just past One Guest Street.
