Join the Greater Chicago Region for an exciting debate: “Which is your favorite – Sense and Sensibility or Pride and Prejudice? A Battle of Wits.”

Two distinguished scholars will debate the topic on September 24, 2011. Dr. Paula Marantz Cohen, best-selling author of Jane Austen in Boca and What Alice Knew: A Most Curious Tale of Henry James and Jack the Ripper and Distinguished Professor at Drexel University, will debate with Dr. Elisabeth Lenckos, Instructor of Comparative Literature at University of Chicago’s Basic Program and Greater Chicago Region Program Director.
The great debate will run from 2:00-4:00 PM, at the Harold Washington Library Center, Multipurpose Room, 400 S. State St., Chicago. The event is free and open to the public. The program will be followed by a book signing and refreshments.
