Jane Austen Gala: “Tea and Diversions with Mr. and Mrs. Darcy”

Mark Saturday, May 15th on your calendar! The Dayton Chapter will celebrate its 25th anniversary with “Tea and Diversions with Mr. and Mrs. Darcy,” a full-day Jane Austen Gala at the University of Dayton.

The program will include three exciting speakers: Carrie Bebris, author of the award-winning Mr. and Mrs. Darcy Mystery series; Kim Wilson, author of Tea with Jane Austen and In the Garden with Jane Austen; and Laura Vorachek, Assistant Professor of English at the University of Dayton who teaches Austen.
“Diversions” will include a musical performance, an English country dance workshop, a High Tea luncheon, and a toast at the bust of Jane Austen that graces the Humanities building at the University.
