Hawaii Region: Tropical Jewel
Oct 5
9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Another Stroll in the Park
The Hawaii Region will visit the "Tropical Jewel" in Wahiawa as we continue our excursions to the City and County of Honolulu's five botanical gardens. The garden and forested ravine cradled between the Wai'anae and Ko'olau mountain ranges features plants that thrive in the cooler upland environment and shady rainforest. Admission is free.
Please indicate where you are coming from if you'd like to carpool. Following the garden visit, we will meet for lunch at The Alley, located at Aiea Bowl, 99-115 Aiea Heights Drive, floor three, home of the famed lemon crunch cake. If, like Mrs. Gardiner, you aren't a great walker, you can meet us at the restaurant at noon.
