The 2010 AGM will be in Portland, Oregon over the Halloween weekend, very fitting as this AGM will feature Northanger Abbey. The theme is "Jane Austen and the Abbey: Mystery, Mayhem and Muslin in Portland."
The conference hotel will be the centrally-located Portland Hilton and Executive Tower. Within walking distance of the hotel are the Chinese Classical Garden and Teahouse, art and history museums, a film center, concert hall, theater, library and Portland State University. Sculpture, fountains and small parks are found throughout the city's central core.
