Knitting and crocheting Regency-style accessories has become a popular pastime.  During this workshop you’ll have the opportunity to create one of the accessory items described below under the guidance of our experts.

Elizabeth’s Knitted Cuffs: Elizabeth Bennet might have worn a pair of these lovely cuffs as she embarked on one of her many walks.  The cuffs feature a simple 2-row lace pattern and a picot bind off.  They are a suitable project for the advanced beginning knitter who wants to try knitting lace using double-pointed needles.  Yarn and needles will be supplied for the class.

Jane’s Crocheted Reticule: What could be more elegant and essential on a fashionable woman’s arm than a simple crocheted lace reticule?  Join our experts and learn how to create a lovely reticule that you can use to safely hold the small objects that would weigh down the delicate pockets of a gown.  A crochet hook and linen yarn are included in the class fee.  This class is designed for advanced beginners comfortable with single and double crochet stitches.

Additional support will be provided after the workshops for finishing both the knitting and crochet projects.
