AGM September Update with Important Deadlines

This update brings news on: September 10 refund/change deadline September 16 hotel room deadline Tickets available to your travel partners The Baltimore Barouche shuttle Rideshares and parking First-timers zoom Banquet signup reminder Fun and games Gifts and gratitude IMPORTANT NOTE: The roomshare and rideshare signup lists mentioned below are Google docs, located in the cloud.  To view or add your information, just click the links in the text below, not the attached files.  To protect JASNA members' privacy, do not post these links on social media or otherwise circulate them, and please conduct discussions privately through email, not on the list. UPCOMING REGISTRATION REFUND/CHANGE DEADLINE: September 11 is the last day to cancel your AGM registration and receive a refund (less processing fee), or add or drop activities. After this date, you can still switch to Livestream/Virtual without a refund. (See complete policies and fees here.)  If you need help or need to cancel your registration, contact the Registrar at jasnaagm@gmail.com.   HOTEL ROOM DEADLINE: We expect more cancellations, freeing up hotel rooms. The JASNA room block closes and our discounted rate expires on September 16. To make any reservation adjustments before then, call 1-877-212-5752 or click this link and then click "Manage Existing Reservation" (below the blue box). Here's some advice for specific situations: To see what's available, search one night at a time on the calendar on the reservation site (or ask a phone agent).  Expect availability to fluctuate. If you have multiple reservations of different room types, Marriott has said these split reservations will be combined after September 16. However, if you happen to see that the nights/room type you need are available, you can use the "Manage Existing Reservation" link to make changes yourself or call 1-877-212-5752 and ask an agent to add/drop nights as needed for you. If you have a standard room and need 2 beds, make sure you've noted that in the request box in your reservation. Marriott will make room assignments according to those requests at check-in.  Don't forget to check the roomshare/rideshare request site (link was previously emailed to registrants) if you want to share a room. TICKETS FOR YOUR NON-REGISTERED TRAVEL PARTNERS:  Three bus tours have some empty seats that are now available to attendees' travel partners, even if they are not registered as AGM companions. To take a travel partner to Winterthur, Homewood/Baltimore Museum of Arts, or Ladew Topiary Gardens, email the Registrar at jasnaagm@gmail.com. BALTIMORE BAROUCHE: The two JASNA shuttles can take you to dozens of top attractions and restaurants around town.  Plan your adventure with this guide, and add a shuttle ticket using the Modify Registration link (previously emailed to registrants).  RIDESHARE AND PARKING:  Want to share a ride to/from the airport, train station, or another location?  Find a rideshare on the rideshare list.  Coming by car? The hotel offers valet parking at $49 per day. Nearby self-park options can be found using parking apps such as SpotHero and Parkwhiz.   BANQUET SIGNUP REMINDER: If you haven't yet done so, please visit the banquet seating signup list. Instructions are on the first page of the table list. FIRST-TIMERS:  If this is your first AGM, watch your email for helpful hints from Jane Boltz, VP for Conferences, along with an invitation to a first-timers' zoom session designed to answer your questions.
